How Henesys Store uses browser storage, usage events, and third-party services.

Browser storage and shared links

The studio uses local storage to remember outfit drafts, saved profiles, theme, and wardrobe preferences. These settings remain in your browser until you clear site data. A temporary session identifier and viewed-item history are kept in session storage for usage measurement; the session renews after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can delete this storage through your browser’s site-data controls.

Shared-look URLs contain character selections, equipment IDs, and color settings. Anyone with the URL can read those choices. Avoid adding personal information to links or search fields.

Usage measurement and server logs

The site sends first-party usage events to its own server: catalog impressions, equipped or swapped items, search text and filters, price views and gaps, profile saves, shares, and market-link clicks. Events can include a random session identifier, sequence number, item IDs, selected outfit items, and market destination URLs. This helps the maintainer understand which tools work and which catalog or pricing gaps need attention.

Raw usage events are retained for up to 30 days under routine maintenance, then summarized into daily statistics. Daily summaries are retained without the session identifier; search summaries can include normalized search text. Retention cleanup can lag during downtime. Hosting and proxy logs may contain IP addresses, request URLs, and technical request information for security and operation. These logs rotate by size rather than a fixed number of days. IP addresses are also used temporarily for rate limiting.

External services

The studio loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address and technical request information. See Google Fonts privacy information.

Artwork sourced from MapleStory.io is bundled and served by this site; the studio does not contact that service to load previews. If you follow an external link, the destination receives the network information needed to serve your visit, including your IP address. Prices are fetched server-side from MapleStory Market; following a market link takes you to that service, which applies its own policies. Market links include a referral code that identifies this site as the source of the visit.

Advertising

This version of Henesys Store does not load Google advertising scripts or request ads. A configured AdSense account verification tag or ads.txt entry identifies the publisher without serving ads.

If Google AdSense is enabled in a future release, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other device information to deliver and measure ads. Personalized advertising can use visits to this and other sites. Advertising will require an updated notice and the applicable consent controls before those requests start.

You can clear locally saved looks yourself. For privacy questions about server-side information, contact the maintainer. Do not send passwords or game credentials. If you contact us on Discord, Discord processes that conversation under its own privacy policy.
